Priorities for CabRIMA in 2012
Published: Jan. 6, 2012Dear Member,
As a fledgling organization, CabRIMA, with your enthusiastic involvement, made its mark in 2011 through capacity building and contribution to policy dialogue in the fast-moving area of research and innovation management.
My hope is that, for 2012 and beyond, we will advance our agenda of creating a community of practice to enable our institutions to add value to research activities which will redound to sustainable development of the region.
The following initiatives are priorities for CabRIMA as we move forward:
- Finalization of formal structures, systems, and processes to guide the association’s operations.
- Continued capacity building of our members (based on the training needs survey conducted in October 2011 and best practices in RIM).
- Certification of members in Research and Innovation Management (RIM).
Best wishes for 2012!
